About this proyect:In this project I was trying to show global warming and how we take it more as a joke. I put the paparazzi there because I was trying to show that we should pay attention to it because maybe tomorrow it going to be too late. I made the earth on fire because that’s what we are doing to our home, setting it into fire. The goal of this drawing was creating consciousness about global warming.
In this drawing I cut a two parts of magazine and paste then in a white peace of paper. Then I took a pencil and started drawing the earth and the lights that point the earth. Later I took paint color pencil and paint it.
In this drawing I did a great job because I used something that I cared about and turn it to a painting. The drawing look real and it leaves something to think about. The drawing archive its goal because it does create consciousness.
POP-ART CANVAS
This year in 10th grade we made one of my favorite works. It was to paint someone you admire, but you have to use pop-art technique. Painting a canvas wasn’t something new for me, because I have painting classes at home. Well the character I painted was Bob Marley. He is one of my favorite artists because he transformed art into music. Well I also painted him because he is an inspiration to me. As you can see this man is really important in my life. He is someone to look up to because of his courage and perseverance.
To make this project we first have to study about what pop-art and what are the best artists in this technique. To make the drawing we used a technique that makes easy to draw. I made like 16 squares in my canvas as same as in my picture so for example if I draw in square one in the canvas, I will know what to draw by looking at the square one in the printed picture. Then when we had already finish drawing we hade to choose a color and made a color value with at least five different tones. With already having the color you started painting with those colors but using the pop-art technique (The hair I did from a complementary color). When I finish painting I had to paint the background so y painted black.
Reflection:
I think this project was challenging for me because although I am a good painter. The problem was that I am really good painting but not drawing so I mess it up drawing. I enjoy this project because I love painting and making new things. We also leaned a lot about pop art. One of the most hard thing was drawing the lips and painting the eyes because the eyes we really small and the lips I draw them to big. I had to erase several times the lips many time. One problem that I had while I was painting was that in was really hard to get the same tome each class so that was a challenge, to get the same tone. I lost a lot of time looking for the same tone. At least I really enjoyed this proyect and it was a really interesting project.

and draw them. We were supposed look in the internet for out artist and then trace them with pencil and then with pen pass writing this of the pencil. For example I did “Perry” and I put Perry all around the drawing. I used different color pen to give color to the drawing. To finish the work we where instructed to cut the blank page into the shape of your artist then paste it in a colored card board to make it more colorful and that’s where we were done. Then as you can see I put lines around him so in can have more color and it would look interesting.

I enjoy a lot this project. First I was undecided of what picture I'm going to use for my project. But then searching in the internet I found Perry and I wanted to draw it. I decided Perry because it’s the character of one of my favorite series. Making this character was easy and the same time really fun and fast. I had a problem tracing the picture into the white sheet of paper. When I finish the picture I realized it looked to sad and white that why I put the red lines as you can see. Finally I enjoy a lot this project because I thought that making a new thing that I haven’t done before, would be very fun and it really was.
